These stairs are from the Old Chemistry building in Stanford University. They are over 150 years old, made of cast iron and weigh in at over 4,000 lbs a piece. There were 4 sections in total.
We performed weld repairs on all 4 sections, allowing them to continue being used for the next 150 years. Using new technology to preserve the old.
